Zdjęcia autorstwa Roberta Kozaka, któremu dziękuję za udostępnienie fotek. Znalezisko pochodzi z Białowieskiego Parku Narodowego.
Gatunek ten znajduje się na Czerwonej Liście ze statusem E- wymierające.
Jest chroniony - częściowa ochrona.

Dodam, że owocniki fotografowane były poza terenem rezerwatu. Jak dla mnie dużym zaskoczeniem było obecność  tego gatunku w bardzo wielu miejscach. W zasadzie można by rzec, że był na terenie puszczy pospolity.
